What is academy soccer?
Academy soccer is a recreational hybrid. A player can play rec and academy at the same time. If a player registers for Recreation soccer with MSA their academy paperwork is included in the registration fees. A parent only has to send an email to the office and request the paperwork and provide a copy of the player’s birth certificate. Registrar@mansfieldsoccer.org
For players who want to only play academy they must register with a home association.
If you choose to register with MSA you must register in the academy only league – your child will not be placed on a recreation team. You must email a copy of your player’s birth certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you choose to register with MSA the cost will be $50 and your academy form will be good for the Fall and Spring season.
Just because you use MSA as your home association this does not mean that you are limited to Revolution academy team. Your academy form is good for any club in North Texas that has an academy team.
Academy soccer is limited to U7 – U10 players.
Academy is different than rec in the following ways:
Recreational Soccer Academy soccer
